Peplink Announces VPN Bonding and New High-end Multi-WAN Router for the Enterprise
Patent-pending bonding technology creates super high-speed, MPLS-grade VPN from low-cost Internet links. High-end Balance 1350 combines 13 WAN links and features 1.5G throughput.
Peplink, the leader in combining Internet Bandwidth for business, today introduced the new Peplink Balance Firmware 5.0 featuring new VPN Bonding, along with its new flagship model, Balance 1350, at CeBIT 2010.
Break Internet Bandwidth Limits
Demand for Internet bandwidth has increased dramatically with the proliferation of online video, VoIP telephony, and video conferencing. Business dependency on the Internet grows as business applications migrate to Cloud Computing platforms. Peplink Balance Multi-WAN Routers allow businesses, hotels, schools, educational institutions, and other organizations to meet their growing Internet demand by adding multiple low-cost Internet links, such as Cable, or DSL, and reduce cost by replacing leased lines. Using Peplink’s industry leading load balancing technology, business can gain increased bandwidth, faster network speeds, higher reliability, increased application predictability, and reduced cost.
VPN bonding provides affordable MPLS alternative and greater upload speed
Using innovative patent pending technology, the new Peplink VPN bonding feature can aggregate multiple Internet links into one big pipe. This further increases bandwidth and greatly enhances speed, especially upload speed, across office sites. Protected with 256-bit AES encryption, the bonded VPN network provides enterprises a faster, more dependable, and affordable alternative to current MPLS or leased line solutions. “We’re extremely excited about the new VPN Bonding capability. It provides a better, more simple, and affordable corporate network for all kinds of customers,” says Keith Chau, General Manager at Peplink. “Greater upload speed also means faster file transfer, shorter backup time, higher quality video streaming, remote live broadcasting and many other new possibilities.”
New Peplink model to meet the highest bandwidth requirement in both Internet and VPN
Peplink also announced their new flagship Peplink Balance 1350, designed to meet the growing demand of bandwidth requirements. Supporting up to 1.5Gbps and 13 WAN links, the new enterprise model caters to customers with extreme Internet requirements. It is perfectly deployed in a corporate headquarters or datacenter environment, and connects to other Peplink Balance routers in branch locations to form a fast and reliable VPN Bonding network.
Peplink is the leader in developing Internet load balancing and VPN bonding solutions. Peplink Balance dual-WAN and multi-WAN routers have been deployed around the world, helping thousands of businesses, hotels, educational institutions, to increase bandwidth, increase Internet reliability, and reduce cost.
