The Drone Command Unit is an innovative vehicle with live monitoring capabilities, enabling real-time remote drone control and two-way communication between the command center and the scene. This underscores the need for fast and constant connectivity on the vehicle.
A Starlink and a Peplink 5G router were deployed to provide the optimal performance and reliability required. The Peplink, with its SpeedFusion technologies, serves as the network hub, bringing Starlink and 5G together and providing seamless failover if one drops. It achieves synergistic results by taking advantage of LEO satellites and 5G technology.
