Firmware 8.6.0 introduces new features and enhancements across SpeedFusion, security, satellite integration, and eSIM management. From improving WAN performance to expanding deployment flexibility, this release helps you build more reliable and manageable networks.

Faster SpeedFusion

SpeedFusion Boost

High performance shouldn't depend on perfect network conditions. A new addition to SpeedFusion, SpeedFusion Boost improves throughput across bonded WAN connections by preventing unstable links from dragging down overall performance. Even when individual connections within a SpeedFusion tunnel are affected by satellite handovers, temporary obstructions, network congestion, or adverse weather, these disruptions have less impact on overall bonded WAN performance.

Secure DNS - Powered by Cloudflare

Encrypt DNS traffic to strengthen network security. Enable Cloudflare-powered secure DNS in InControl for devices with an active Care Plan. Encrypt DNS queries with DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and block malicious domains.
