Firmware Release Notes for Balance 20L & 20W 
 
Release 4.8.1, Aug 04, 2009

New Features: 
  • UPnP / NAT-PMP support

Improvements: 
  • Improved DNS compatibility with Unix clients.
Bug Fixed:
  • WAN links cannot go up if ping based health check is enabled on all of them and all ping hosts are host names rather than IP addresses.
  • Potential problem in sending email notification via some authentication enabled email servers.
Note: 
  • Since firmware 4.7, if IP Forwarding is enabled on a WAN, health check and DNS resolution packets over the WAN will be originated from the WAN IP address instead of the LAN IP address.
