WAN Bonding with the Peplink Balance

This application note concerns WAN bonding with the Peplink Balance, which allows customers to aggregate bandwidth from multiple ISPs or mobile carriers to create a single high-bandwidth "pipe" to the Internet.

Bonded, High-speed Internet Service for Remote Locations

  • Peplink Balance units installed in remote locations and in the data center bond multiple Internet connections to create a single high-speed link at the data center. All on-site traffic at remote locations is then funneled through the data center’s bonded connection, making for faster and more reliable Internet data transfer.

  • With Peplink WAN bandwidth bonding, you can also create big Internet pipes to quickly and securely access your cloud services via the bonded connection at the data center.

Mobile WAN Bonding

  • The MAX mobile router bonds 3G links to create high-bandwidth mobile Internet pipes to the data center. This allows you to stream live HD videos that were previously unwatchable due to bandwidth limitations and transfer large files faster than ever before.
