Drop-in Mode is a feature that is available with Peplink Balance 210, 310, 380, 390, 580, 710, and 1350.

Also known as Bridge Mode or Transparent Mode, Drop-in Mode allows Peplink Balance to be deployed in an existing network without incurring any configuration changes to existing devices (e.g. routers, firewalls, etc.).

Drop-in Mode simplifies the installation of Peplink Balance and isolates deployment risk to a small number of components, as illustrated by the following diagram:
